KentI would highly recommend Lumina and Courtney Sollenberger to anyone looking into solar options. Courtney is very knowledgeable and took the time to lay out all of our options. I looked seriously at 3 different companies and Lumina was the clear leader. No pressure and a team of professionals supporting us through the entire process. Lots of clear communication at each step of the process. The installation team was super efficient and took the time to answer every question I had. We have been up and running since June banking electricity in our net metering solution. The visibility into what our system is producing through their app software and hardware is amazing.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Kent
Deborah BurkLumina made the process very easy, and all their workers showed on time, and were courteous and professional. Peter Hayes kept me appraised of the entire process. I'm looking forward to Dominion Energy hooking me up so that I can do my part for the environment!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Deborah Burk
James O'DriscollTim did a great job of explaining the process for adding a second system to my home.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by James O'Driscoll
Thomas JefferyChristopher Richardson was great setting everything up, showing us options and plans. He answered any questions quickly, even a few months after completion. One month after the system was turned on, Met-Ed owes us $333 for the month!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Thomas Jeffery
MAMAS MidwivesWorked with Ryan Cook from Lumina and it could not have been easier. He arranged for all the inspection and permits and paperwork and installation, and his team is super responsive and helpful. The inspector even noticed a dangerous hanging wire about to fall off of our house after a previous storm, and saved us from possible electrocution by contacting Pepco to fix it before moving forward. Once it was installed, and all the permits were in, we got permission from Pepco to turn it on, and we just had to flip a switch and voilà! Solar power! Wish we had done it years ago. Bonus: we gave our code to our son and he got solar power in his house and Lumina gave him a discount and sent us a referral fee!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by MAMAS Midwives
Srikanth KasiLumina Solar exceeded expectations with their installation project. The team was efficient, professional, and the system performs exceptionally. Impressed with their attention to detail and commitment to renewable energy solutions. Richard FreyFrom the very beginning until now after our system was installed our experience with Lumina Solar and Philip Jordan has been awesome. In the beginning we looked at a few different Solar companies. My wife and I thought that the presentation that Philip gave was the most informative and the best. Philip was only a call or text away for all the many (and by many I mean alot) of questions that we had and still have. Our system would have been installed about 2 months earlier if not for having to file for a varance for the township. Philip assisted us with all the paperwork and then even offered to help us with addressing about 50 envelopes to send out for the hearing. Once the permits were issued the process went quickly and smoothly. The panels (41 between the house and detached garage) were installed in only 2 days. My wife told me that Cameron and his crew were very professional. Cameron took his time and made sure to explain everything to her. After the install the inspection was only 2 days later and I signed the last form for PPL that Friday. The following Tuesday afternoon our system went active. It's been on for a week now and producing more then we are using so we will have some credit in the winter. Again the whole process with Lumina and Philip was a great experience. Ps. I just asked Philip another question today and as usual he was quick to respond.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Richard Frey
taxmanGreat experience all around. Philip Jordan guided me through the process from start to finish. He explained everything at the start, answered all my questions, and got me set up. He kept in contact throughout the process and was very helpful. The office staff were quick to reply and answered my questions well. They handled the paperwork with speed and got everything moving faster than I expected. The inspection and installation teams were great. They worked quickly and did a great job. In fact, the state inspector told me that my rig was the only one all week that he approved, because other companies apparently don't know what they're doing. Overall, I have only good things to say about my experience. Would recommend.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by taxman
Mark WillwerthI was nervous about the process, but everything went smooth. Our system is up and running and we haven’t had any issues. A big shout out to everyone involved!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Mark Willwerth
Brian ClarkI highly recommend Lumina Solar. The cost and solar panel name brand equipment is what attracted me to Lumina Solar which were reasonable. My experience was hassle free and painless. Matt walked me through the process of installing and owning solar panels. He responded to my questions and concerns in a timely manner. He explained the rebates, credits and grants I would receive. The team was very knowledgeable, conducted themselves in a professional manner and great customer service.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Brian Clark
  • Frequently check mounting hardware-- tighten up anything that feels loose.
  • Look for discoloration or warping on panels, indications of hidden damage.
  • Keep an eye on inverter efficiency metrics; abrupt drops typically mean underlying problems.
